Good preparation will greatly enhance the value of a study tour in Israel.  These videos are to be used in conjunction with maps in the Israel Study Manual.  Each video refers to specific pages in the manual.  Five colored pencils of varying colors (e.g., red, green, blue, orange, brown) are needed to do the markings on the maps discussed in the videos.

Video one:  Introduction to understanding Biblical revelation and how to use the Study Manual.

Video two:  Introduction to the land of the Bible.

Video three:  The Southern Arena of God’s actions

Video four:  The (further) South Arenas  (Needed for itineraries of eleven days or more)

Video five:  The Northern arena (Galilee)

Video six:  Introduction to Jerusalem

Video seven:  Seeing the sweep of the whole biblical story

 

After completing these videos and marking the maps as indicated in the videos, use the Study Manual Supplement to walk through six events from various time periods of the biblical story.  The Supplement refers to maps in the Study Manual which are to be marked as indicated in the Supplement.  The purpose of the Supplement is to begin to understand the relationship of the land to the events as they unfold in the biblical narrative.
